Contenu

  • Definitions: normative terminology and objectives (bioburden, sterility, survival probability, SAL ...)
  • Microorganisms: friend or foe, who are they?

- Structuring and life evolution (phylogeny, morphology, Gram, reproduction)
- Bacteria: a difficult cohabitation from pathogenicity to bioterrorism
- A daily struggle for man, just like in industry: becoming Bacterial killer (antibiotic therapy, mutation and multi-resistance)
- Allies of choice: from biotechnologies to the scientific police)

  • The tools available for reduction or elimination:

- The chemical route (Cl2, ETO, H2O2, O3 ..)
- Radiation (β, γ, X, hv, uv ..)
- Separation (microfiltration, nanoF, UF, RO)
- Pascalisation
- Pasteurisation
