- Definitions: normative terminology and objectives (bioburden, sterility, survival probability, SAL ...)
- Microorganisms: friend or foe, who are they?
- Structuring and life evolution (phylogeny, morphology, Gram, reproduction)
- Bacteria: a difficult cohabitation from pathogenicity to bioterrorism
- A daily struggle for man, just like in industry: becoming Bacterial killer (antibiotic therapy, mutation and multi-resistance)
- Allies of choice: from biotechnologies to the scientific police)
- The tools available for reduction or elimination:
- The chemical route (Cl2, ETO, H2O2, O3 ..)
