Visual inspection machines: don't let imperfections slow down your production

The pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries are subject to very specific standards and the slightest manufacturing defect can slow down or even bring your production to a halt. To help you limit these setbacks, STERIGENE invites you to discover its range of semi-automatic and automatic visual inspection equipment, and a leak detection machine.

Our semi-automatic and automatic visual inspection solutions

STERIGENE offers automated visual inspection of your pharmaceutical and cosmetic containers:

  • The semi-automatic visual inspection automatically scrolls through the products to be inspected in front of a magnifying lens behind which an operator decides on the product validity.
  • The automatic visual inspection: mobile or fixed cameras replace the operator ensuring a very high rate of visual inspection. Defective products can autonomously be sorted into default categories by the machine.

Semi-automatic and automatic visual inspection machines can be used for the visual inspection of various containers, such as bottles, ampoules, syringes, vials and cartridges. Their flexibility also allows them to be configured in series within pharmaceutical or cosmetic production lines.

Innovation: a leak detection machine using electric discharges, a fast and efficient solution

STERIGENE can also offer a range of leak detection machines using electric discharge for the control of bottles, ampoules and vials of aqueous products or suspensions.

The LKD process (Leakage Inspection) automatically scrolls through the products to be inspected in front of electrical terminals. These send high intensity electric discharges. Defective products, which have micro-cracks, scratches, crimping defects etc., are conductive, while the defect-free products act as insulators. If a discharge passes through a product, it is therefore defective. It is then marked and sorted by category. The LKD equipment range enables quick and effective detection at a very high rate.
