New Cleanroom cleaning and disinfection solutions

Pharmaceutical, cosmetics, biotechnology or food processing industries require specific expertise for the cleaning and disinfection of their cleanrooms. Recognising these needs, STERIGENE, in partnership with Ecolab – occupational hygiene specialist – offers a full range of innovative sterile or non-sterile biocides & alcohols in response to national and international standards.

Effective cleaning and disinfection products

Contamination control in cleanrooms is of utmost importance to ensure the effectiveness of the products in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, biotech & food sectors. Controlled environments must have the necessery cleaning and disinfection products that will not bring in new or additional contamination.

As such, the STERIGENE department GENIclean, specialised in cleanroom consumables and furniture and exclusive Ecolab distributor for France, offers its customers a wide range of biocides with few constraints for surfaces and users : filtered or filtered sterile alcohols and broad-spectrum biocides.
Ecolab products, via their Shield Medicare division, are equipped with SDS spray systems, the only validated closed system for a spray. This system ensures the integrity of the solution for three months use.

STERIGENE and Ecolab: an innovative partnership

STERIGENE signed its partnership with Ecolab in 2011 to offer a unique range of products for contamination control in clean and sterile environments.

GENIclean can now offer innovative alcohols and biocides based on product formulation. Carole Pezet, head of the GENIclean commercial department said “Innovation focuses on the alternating use of disinfectants based on quaternary ammonium compounds with low content but high efficiency, and disinfectants based on accelerated Hydrogen Peroxide, providing a high level disinfection with an extremely small amount of residues, thus relieving procedures”.

In addition to ensuring the achievement of a stable manufacturing process, Ecolab also allows STERIGENE to offer products in line with future regulatory requirements on biocides as well as REACH. Indeed, the occupational health specialist invests and innovates each year in research, development and engineering to ensure a high level of protection of human health as well as the environment.
